"Surely occupying one of the best situations in London, The Parkwood is a gracious small hotel. Though only five minutes' walk from busy, noisy Marble Arch it is a world away in this quiet street which opens onto all the splendour of Hyde Park.
The front door opens into an attractive hallway and thence the charming lounge with its pink sofas, plants and candy striped wallpaper. Many of the bedrooms have recently been re-decorated with pretty papers and prints and all have satellite television, radio-alarms and tea/coffee makers. Some rooms are non-smoking. Bathrooms are nice though a little old-fashioned, having tubs and hand-showers, not power showers.
The Parkwood is under the same ownership as the Edward Lear as one notices by the same coral walls in the breakfast room, the hand-written menus exhorting one to 'Eat, relax and enjoy' and even the artists' gallery of paintings by visiting children.
Once again a very, and deservedly, popular small hotel, so we urge prospective visitors to book early, if possible."
All rooms include T.V. with free satellite channels, radio, tea/coffee-making facilities. Direct-dial phones with incoming calls possible direct to guest's rooms. Free internet access and use of computer for guests, keep in touch with friends and family while you're away from home.

Where can I park the car?
Due to the traffic and costs it’s generally not advisable to bring a car to London, however, we do have an arrangement with NCP for discounted parking at their local underground parking garage, Bilton Towers. The hotel can provide tickets for this garage at a cost of £6 for 12 hours and £12 for 24 hours, includes allowing you to "come and go as you please”.
Street parking is free outside the Parkwood from 8.30pm - 8.30am.

In order to finalize your reservation Parkwood hotel will need a deposit to cover the cost of your first night's accommodation. If you subsequently need to cancel the booking, your deposit will be fully refunded provided that you have advised us no later than 2 days prior to your intended arrival date.
